VYPE: What goals do you have for this year in basketball?
Brynn: My goals this year for the season are to finally win the state championship. We have fallen short two years in a row and I’m ready to finally hold up the gold ball.

VYPE: What has basketball taught you that you use in your daily life?
Brynn: Basketball has taught me how to be resilient. This sport is tough on your mental and physical health but I have learned how to push through the hard times and not give up when things get hard.

VYPE: What’s your favorite style of shoe to wear in game?
Brynn: I don’t have a favorite shoe to wear during the game because we just wear our team shoes so everyone can match.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Brynn: My teammates inspire me. Watching their work ethic everyday before, during, and after practice pushes me to be the best version of myself.

VYPE: What do you think is the biggest challenge in basketball?
Brynn: I think the biggest challenge is basketball is mentally pushing yourself when you’re tired. Getting in shape for me coming from softball season is one of the hardest things about missing preseason.

VYPE: What do you think makes a great basketball player?
Brynn: Being consistent makes a great basketball player. Can you show up everyday and be better than you were the day before?

VYPE: Who in your family is the best athlete? Explain.
Brynn: My whole family is filled with athletes. My dad played at the highest level in baseball and is in three halls of fame.

VYPE: What’s one sport you wish you could play that you don’t already play?
Brynn: I’ve always wanted to play volleyball but I can’t since it’s during softball season.

VYPE: What’s your go-to pregame song?
Brynn: My go-to pregame song is “Cinderella Man” by Eminem.
