The Bixby Lady Spartans are state tournament bound on the hardwood.
Bixby defeated Choctaw, 64-33, in a Class 6A East Area Tournament consolation final Saturday, March 4 to earn a berth.
The Lady Spartans, who are 19-8 on the season under head coach Tina Thomas, will face unbeaten Edmond North (26-0) Thursday, March 9 in the state tournament quarterfinal round at Lloyd Noble Center in Norman.
Member of the Lady Spartans include: Kate Datel, Addilyn Kramer, Gentry Baldwin, Kate Wernli, Ama Musick, Brynn Daniel, Bailey Wilson, Gracy Wernli, Meredith Mayes, Alyssa Nielsen, Sarah Beltran, Kenzie Christian and Sadie Beltran.
The lone state championship in program history came in 1957.
