“Great attitude practice player and embraces role on scout team.” -Bixby Head Coach Tina Thomas
VYPE: What does this team and your teammates mean to you?
Prince: My team and teammates mean a lot to me. They’re there to hold me accountable and to encourage me but they know when to help me out on defense or on offense. When we break out, we say family and I think we all truly mean it and it’s helped with the success on the court. This has by far been one of the best teams I’ve had the pleasure of playing on and I wouldn’t trade any of them for the world.
VYPE: What does it mean to you when you hear coach Thomas calling you the unsung hero of the team?
Prince: I think it means that you have to be willing to push and keep going when people don’t always notice it or when you don’t always want to. Without having someone like that it can really affect practice and the mood of the team on and off the court. Someone’s gotta be willing to step up and do the dirty work.
VYPE: What grade are you in and what are your plans after you graduate?
Prince: I am a senior and I plan on going to the University of Oklahoma to get a major in secondary education.
