3 Questions with Alyssa Nielson
VYPE: What does it mean to you to be a person of good character?
Nielsen: Being a person of good character means operating with integrity. To me it means being a good teammate and always putting your team before yourself.
VYPE: If you were stranded on an island who are three people you would want there with you?
Nielsen: I would bring my mom for emotional stability and overall leadership. My brother because he’s got a crazy sense of direction, and he’s super strong and hardworking (don’t tell him though). And honestly if I can bring anyone, I’m bringing Katniss Everdeen because someone has to hunt for dinner!
VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life, on or off the field?
Nielsen: My late grandmother inspired my love of reading and learning. She was my biggest fan and supported me in everything I do. I work hard to hopefully make her proud.
