VYPE: What goals do you have for this year in basketball?
Kourtney: My goal this freshman season is to get the newcomer of the year and become a very important role on my team.

VYPE: What has basketball taught you that you use in your daily life?
Kourtney: Basketball is not only a physical sport but mental as well, there are so many obstacles that you have to overcome on the mental side so I would say that going into life you have to be strong mentally more than physically.

VYPE: What’s your favorite style of shoe to wear in game?
Kourtney: My favorite shoe is any type of Lebrons.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Kourtney: My parents definitely, my parents are my biggest role models and they have been by my side through all that has happened and will happen in my future. I can count on them anytime of the day to have my back and go through every hurdle I face right next to me.

VYPE: What do you think is the biggest challenge in basketball?
Kourtney: I think the biggest challenge in basketball is confidence, I have always struggled with believing in myself and having the confidence I need to be great.

VYPE: What do you think makes a great basketball player?
Kourtney: I think a great leader and a hard worker makes a great basketball player, you don’t have to be the best but if you are willing to put in the work to eventually be great that all that matters. Being a leader shows how much heart you have for the sport and how much dedication you have to win.

VYPE: Who in your family is the best athlete? Explain.
Kourtney: I think my brother is the best athlete in my family because he’s a sophomore and he’s doing three sports in one school year and he’s really good at all of them.

VYPE: What’s one sport you wish you could play that you don’t already play?
Kourtney: I wish I would have tried volleyball.

VYPE: What’s your go-to pregame song?
Kourtney: My pregame song is definitely “Homecoming” by Kanye West.
