VYPE: How did your season turn out and what were your goals?
Kinsley: The team started to develop as the season went on and we overcame a few
obstacles. I wanted to do my best and help the team get a win each time we stepped on the field.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Kinsley: I like the hotel stays when we had out of town tournaments. Being with your
friends at a hotel and chatting can create a lot of memories.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Kinsley: My favorite teacher was my 4th grade teacher Mrs. Youngman at Broken Arrow.
She pours into her students and makes you feel loved and actually cared for. I still think
about how she made me feel loved and I will always remember her!
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Kinsley: My favorite athletic memory was winning slow pitch regionals and being the first
year in school history to make it to state.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Kinsley: A teammate that has left a big impression on me is Elise Gibson. She always went hard and picked you up if you made a mistake even if she was down on herself.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Kinsley: My favorite part about being on the team is some of the friendships that I have
made and I love that my dad also gets to coach me.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do
you take with you?
Kinsley: I would want to go to Bora Bora and I would take my whole family. There’s
nothing like spending time with family, so being on a nice vacation like that would be
amazing.
VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?
Kinsley: I started playing softball when I was 6 years old. My dad has always been a coach and seeing him out there coaching made me want to get out on the field.
VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.
Kinsley: Thank you to my parents and grandparents for always supporting me and rarely
missing a game when they have busy schedules themselves. Thank you seniors for making my junior year enjoyable. I will miss you all!
